Did you know that one out of three women in our community has been a victim of domestic violence in her lifetime?  That Cibola County ranks 10th out of 33 counties in New Mexico for the most domestic violence incidences?  Everyone has or does know a victim or a survivor of domestic violence.  Domestic violence effects every life it touches, men, women and especially the children who witness it as well as family, friends and even employers and the business community.
Roberta's Place has been serving victims of domestic violence and their children in our community since 1995 because we believe that no one deserves to be abused.  In the
past 18 years we have assisted more than 4000 men, women and children.  We provide safe shelter with food and clothing, 24 hour crisis intervention, client support, case management, counseling, transportation, life skills classes, legal advocacy and batterer’s intervention classes.
As October is Domestic Violence Awareness month, Roberta's Place would like to partner with you in helping create the kind of community we all want to live in - healthy, safe and free from violence.  Your tax deductible donation will help us continue to provide services and will also provide discretionary money that pays for necessary client services that are not funded through other grants.
So, please give generously and help make our community a better place to live.
On behalf of the people we serve and the staff of Roberta’s Place we thank you for your continued support and commitment.

Sincerely,

Sally K Sanchez
